Dan Berger is a writer, activist, and graduate student living in Philadelphia. Thomas Butko teaches political science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. His articles on Political Islam and on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have appeared in British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies, Middle East Review of International Affairs, and Peace Studies. Saladin Muhammad, an activist of 40 years in the African American liberation movement, is National Chairperson and a founding member of Black Workers For Justice, a North Carolina and Southern-based organization active in trade unions and mass organizations. He served as a Southern coordinator for the Million Worker March and as International Rep in the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers Union (UE). He coordinated early efforts to build support for the Gulf Coast Survivors movement and Peoples Hurricane Relief Fund. saladin62@aol.com

Jeffrey Paris is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Francisco.
